This Demo Reel is a compilation of work that I have done in Unity, Unreal Ed and Game Maker. It is intended to display my abilities as a Level Designer and Mission Scripter
This game was made from the idea of taking an old game that I loved, and trying to modernize it by taking advantage of today's technology. The original game concept was from Crusader : No Remorse. From there I added object physics, rag-doll bodies and an over the shoulder viewpoint when aiming your gun. I outsourced the 3D Modeling, but did the prototype, programming, level design, animation and even the music myself.
A puzzle game where the player guides a cat through the shadows by moving the light in the environment. Moving the light stretches and skews the shadows of the objects it touches to create platforms for an AI Cat.
My personal contributions to this game involve puzzle design as well as multiple scripted events that throw, scare and drop the cat, as well as emitters.
SunBreaker is a game in which the player uses the power of the sun to transform from a lowly Hydrogen atom all the way up the Periodic Table Of Elements. Using heat and pressure, the player must find the atom's "recipe".
My contributions to this project was all the programming and menu integration as well as some graphic design.
Pain Lab was created using the Unreal Editor. This Capture the Flag map is fun for a lot of reasons, but what I found most interesting was making all of the scripted events able to be used both defensively and offensively; even if you are in the other team's base. Bodies fly everywhere while you laugh and turn your friends (or enemies) to gibs.
